Please understand that guidelines have been set forth by the state and certain precautions are being taken by the staff to ensure your safety and ours. We pride ourselves in providing a safe environment for our guests and employees to enjoy the game of golf. We have opened the golf course on a limited basis with some important changes to ensure everyone's safety. The safety of our staff and guests will not be compromised. In order to help us keep everyone safe and limit interaction with the staff all tee times must be booked and paid for in advance allowing you to check-in with the starter and tee off while continuously maintaining the CDC recommended 6-foot distance from our staff and other guests

PRE-PAYMENT IS REQUIRED:
All tee times must be booked in advance online or by calling 215.877.8707

All tee times booked online must be paid for at time of booking. As we work through this technological transition you may not see the correct rate after you’ve logged into the booking engine. If so, please call the golf shop directly to book your play and pay via phone with a credit card. Additionally, our rates have been simplified so we apologize, but additional discounts, gift cards, and rain checks will not be accepted for payment towards online tee times at this time. If for any reason you cannot make your tee time, and you booked it through our website, please log in to your account and cancel. If you booked directly through GolfNow please go to their website and cancel. If those options are not possible, or you run into an issue please email us at info@golfphilly.org with the name, date and time of reservation.

The Course
Cobb's Creek Golf Club is site of the first public golf course in the Greater Philadelphia area and, today, houses two 18-hole layouts - "The Olde Course" and "The Karakung Course."
The Olde Course is the crown jewel amongst Philadelphia's courses, having  been nationally ranked as the #6 Best Municipal Course in by Golfweek Magazine.  Designed by renowned course architect Hugh Wilson (architect of the famed Merion-East course in nearby Ardmore), the Olde Course is a mature tree-lined golf course that was established in 1916.

Cobb's Creek has another distinction as well - it served as host to the 1928 USGA Amateur Public Links tournament and a PGA Tour event, the 1955 Philadelphia Inquirer Open.

Accuracy is a must on the front nine as the layout takes full advantage of the namesake creek, which meanders through the course and comes into play on the first six holes.  The back nine is equally as challenging and is highlighted by a string of lengthy holes including the monstrous 638-yard 14th Hole.  The Olde Course boasts a long list of awards and accolades and has a tremendous history as it has hosted two PGA
Tour Events and has played host to countless tournament events.

The course is commonly mentioned in both international and national travel publications and is noted as a "Must Play" golf course by both locals and travelers alike. The Olde Course is a living, breathing piece of golf history and is noted as a Philadelphia Landmark.

The Karakung Course was originally designed by Alan P. Corson and A. H. Smith. Built initially as an 11-hole course to help alleviate the large number of golfers playing the Olde Course. It became apparent how important that decision was because by 1929, over 120,000 rounds of golf alone were played at both the Cobb’s Creek "Olde Course" and "Karakung Course".
